For the Brothers Max and Mel, founders of Select German, expertise in German cars is only half the equation. A true specialist,  also excels at customer care, patiently explaining the intricacies of these machines with the clarity of a seasoned engineer.

Mel, a formerly mechanical engineer, it was always easy to understand the language of machines, more like instinct to him. He became a master technician to pursue his passion, meticulously restoring German cars to their former glory.

Max entered the car scene in 2000, building race cars for the track and high-performance machines for the street. He brings customer care to the business, honed through his bachelor’s degree in business administration and over 20 years of experience. Together, they assembled a team of skilled mechanics and built a solid reputation in San Diego.
